Fees & Travel
Ink & Trust Notary Services provides Remote Online Notarization (RON), mobile notary services, and Apostille/Authentication coordination. Fees vary depending on the service requested, travel distance, and any government processing requirements.
Government processing fees and shipping costs are separate from my service fees and are paid by the client.
Notary Fees
Mobile / In- Person Notary (Maryland)

Notarial Act: $8 per notarial act

$8 for each signature on the original or first copy.

$4 for each signature on each additional copy of the same record, signed at the same time

Travel (when travel is required): $5 + $0.725 per mile (round trip)

​Mileage is calculated round trip from Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD 21005 to the appointment address and back.

Travel is quoted and agreed before the appointment is confirmed.

Example:
10 miles one-way = 20 miles round trip → $5 + (20 × $0.725) = $19.50 travel
Remote Online Notarization (RON)

$25 per remote notarial act (per notarized signature/notary certificate).

Apostille Services (Hague Convention Countries)
For documents being used in countries that are part of the Hague Apostille Convention, the Maryland Secretary of State issues an Apostille certificate.
Apostille Handling (Standard) $175 per document
Additional documents submitted in the same order $95 each

Documents being used in countries that are not part of the Hague Apostille Convention may require additional certifications and embassy or consulate legalization.
Because this process may involve multiple offices and submission steps, pricing depends on the complexity of the request.

Additional agency submissions may be required.

Government processing fees are determined by the issuing agency and are paid separately by the client.
Examples include:
